Large trees and vegetation will be retained and there will be more landscaping and native plants to preserve natural values and enhance privacy for residents.

The site is close to local shopping, near bus stops and education facilities, and a short walk to the Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood House making it perfect for much needed homes.

Homes Tasmania is consulting on a draft concept plan before making a submission for planning approval to Council.

Consultation is open during February 2026.
