Prospective homeowners can now register their interest in being one of the first buyers to put down roots in the newest subdivision in Kingborough.

Land will soon be available to buy in the Huntingfield subdivision

Titles for the first 33 lots in Stage 1 of the Huntingfield subdivision are being finalised now and these lots are expected to go to market before the end of the year. The remaining 170 remaining lots in Stage 1 will become available from early 2026, providing more housing opportunities for Tasmanians.

A range of lot sizes will be available across the subdivision – from smaller lots suitable for terraces and townhouses through to larger lots for detached houses – with an average lot size of 450 m².

Some lots will be available for sale as land only with others to be available as house and land packages.

The house and land packages will help simplify the building process for new homeowners as they won’t need to secure their own builder, and they will have improved certainty around planning approvals.

They will also ensure Huntingfield remains a high-quality housing development.

Interested buyers will receive more information about house designs and participating builders in coming months.

Home ownership assistance will be available to buyers through the successful MyHome shared equity program, reducing the upfront and ongoing costs of building and owning a home.

Anyone interested in purchasing land in the Huntingfield subdivision – either in the initial release or in future stages – is encouraged to register their interest at www.huntingfieldtas.com.au.
