The development application for a new subdivision planned for Kings Meadows was approved by Launceston City Council on 19 February 2026.
The 10.46 ha site at Techno Park Drive, Kings Meadows will deliver about 104 residential lots suitable for a range of households, including single people, families and older couples wanting to downsize.
Lot sizes will range from 330m2 to 3 964m2 allowing for the delivery of different types of dwellings, including strata developments, town houses and free-standing homes.
A civil works tender will be released in coming months and land is expected to be released for sale in 2027.
