Homes Tasmania is upgrading the sewerage pump and tank in the Peter Murrell Reserve   to help meet the needs of the new homes in the subdivision.

The  upgrade will also support the ongoing health of Coffee Creek and its natural habitat.

Works on the sewer pump station, which is in the Huntingfield Avenue carpark within the Peter Murrell Reserve, are expected to start early in 2026 and will take about two months.

During the works, there will be reduced capacity in the carpark and a pedestrian detour will be provided for access to the Coffee Creek fire trail.

Parking will remain available in all other Peter Murrell Reserve carparks: Howden Road, Burwood Drive, Scarborough Avenue and Patriarch Drive.
