Housing Connect is Tasmania’s entry point for people aged 16 years and over who are facing homelessness or are in housing need, and the assistance that is available to people with urgent or specific needs.

This policy provides the principles for providing Housing Connect front door services, including:

  • service delivery principles and practices
  • accessing Housing Connect
  • provision of housing support.

This fact sheet provides the approach for helping people who are in immediate personal danger, including:
