Dashboard

The new Housing Dashboard provides a clearer view of progress in delivering new social and affordable homes across Tasmania.

The Dashboard tracks progress towards the Tasmanian Government’s commitment to deliver 10 000 social and affordable homes by 2032. It shows homes that have been completed, are under construction, or are progressing through earlier stages of the delivery pipeline.

It also includes reporting on affordable housing outcomes that are in addition to the 10 000 homes target.

The new web-based format provides greater transparency about the housing program, with information that can be explored by location and stage of delivery.

This release is the first step in a broader program of improvements. Future updates will add further information, informed by feedback from stakeholders and users.

The web-based Dashboard will progressively replace the existing static Dashboard document.

The Housing Dashboard report was initially developed in the former Department of Communities Tasmania. Homes Tasmania introduced its Dashboard for the July 2024 report. The new web-based Dashboard was introduced for the August 2026 report.
